Back to the Basics

This is an exciting New Year already. I know that hope is springing up in many of your hearts about the expectations for God's favor to manifest in our lives. The promise of Christ is simple - We can have an abundant life as long as He is a vital part of that life. Life without Him has no abundance, no matter how much fame, pleasure, or wealth a person gets. But with Christ as the centerpiece of our life, abundance is a reality and he adds to our life beyond what we could imagine. It is our job however to make sure that we are in position for that abundance to be released. How do I get in position? The answer is not anything new. Abide in Him. I abide in Him by praying fervently, studying his word and sharing his love to others. These are the basics that allow our faith to grow and allow us to remain a part of the Vine which causes us to produce Fruit!
